Creed

The House of Creed - simply no comparison

Creed has gained significant popularity in recent years, but the House of Creed is sure outlive any trend it is wrapped up in today. The House of Creed was founded in 1760 in England by James Henry Creed and by the early 1800’s, Queen Victoria had appointed Creed as an official supplier to the Royal Household. By the middle of the 19th century, Creed had moved to the fragrance capital of the world, Paris. Over the centuries, the Creed family has never stepped away from the business and has maintained its course, focused on following those who came before and preserving their heritage. Creed has produced over 200 perfumes, the likes of which have been worn by almost every famous celebrity of their time (hi Jackie Kennedy). Each scent remains as identifiable as the next and the House has never lost its touch through seven generations. Today Olivier Creed manages the business and is accompanied by his son Erwin. The two carry with their old-world techniques which is refreshing to see in a world obsessed with ‘the next thing’.
