Eau de Parfum, know simply as Perfume, is a fragrance which is categorized as having of approximately ten to twenty percent in fragrance concentration levels. This range often leads people to label the Perfumes as 'strong' fragrances. Given there are no industry standards governing concentration levels, one must use their categorization as an approximation for scent strength. It should also be noted that while Perfumes are a popular choice for women's fragrances, the category is NOT gender specific and ONLY relates to fragrance concentration levels. More technically - the structure of Eau de Parfums are more focused on refreshing heart and top notes. In fact, only about thirty percent of aromatic compounds in Eau de Parfums consist of materials classified as base notes with the remaining seventy percent being divided (rather evenly) between the heart notes and the top notes.
